Supplementary examinations

MADURAI: Madurai Kamaraj University will conduct supplementary examinations for the benefit of students who are not able to get their degrees just for want of pass marks in the subjects listed for final semester of undergraduate courses.

This examination is being conducted so that the students need not waste a whole year to clear their arrear papers, according to S. Shanmugiah, Controller of Examinations. Those students who have cleared all papers, including practical examinations, up to fifth semester can apply through the Principals of respective colleges on or before July 15 by downloading the application form from the website, www.mkuniversity.org.

The examination fee for each subject is Rs.325 and it should be paid to university either through a demand draft in favour of ‘The Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University,’ payable at Madurai or the SBI Account No.1 challan.

He said that the university will be the only examination centre for supplementary examinations and hall ticket must be collected from the university. “Only the current batch students will be permitted to write the supplementary examinations,” he said.
