Air India staff protest

A group of employees of national carrier Air India abstained from work for two-hours in Tiruchi on Friday as part of the nation-wide protest against the delay in payment of salary. A group of employees, owing allegiance to the Air India Employees Guild and Air Corporation Employees Union, staged a demonstration in front of the Air India Office in the city during the afternoon.
