Competitions on August 2

TIRUCHI: The Samskrita Sahitya Parishad, Tiruchi will organise competitions in Sanskrit for students from Standard I to College level. The competitions include sloka recitation, elocution, essay writing and music. The competition would be held on August 2 at the National College Higher Secondary School premises near Chathiram bus stand in the city.

Certificates of merit and prizes would be given to the winners at different levels. Copies of rules and regulations could be obtained from the office of Mahatma Gandhi Centenary Vidhyalaya, Tennur or National College Higher Secondary School, a press release from the Parishad’s vice president V.N.
