Farwell to four judges

Staff Correspondent

Udupi: Judge of Fast Track Court Shivalinge Gowda said on Friday that the judiciary could function smoothly if there was harmonious relation between the judges and the lawyers.

He was speaking at a farewell and felicitation function, organised by the Udupi Bar Association for four judges, who had been promoted and transferred. The four judges are: Mr. Shivalinge Gowda; Yogish N. Karagudri; S. Shobha; and S.L. Patil.

Mr. Gowda said that the young advocates should follow legal discipline and rules. They should give respect to senior advocates and show more interest in their profession, he said.
