MADURAI: Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) here is offering three-year Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course and applications for admission are now being issued for the 2009-12 batch. Its Principal M. Nagaraju said that application forms would be received till July 10 and admission based on score achieved by a candidate in the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) and performance in personal interview. The total number of seats available is 60 and guidelines for Government quota and management quota would be strictly followed. 100 per cent placementExplaining the success of MCA department which was introduced in 1994, he said that the achievement of 100 per cent placement for its students was a hallmark of the department. The course had been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation, All India Council for Technical Education. “Despite the economic recession and slowdown, the students who had passed out in 2009 had been placed in companies such as Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Cognizant, Caritor, Inautics and HCL,” Mr. Nagaraju said. Apart from achieving job placement for all the MCA programme students this year, the institution had also been able to achieve hundred per cent pass in university examinations over the past 10 years.
