Chetan meets Prabhu in final

BANGALORE: It will be an all-Karnataka final in the dwarf (125-135 cm) section in the National badminton championship for the physically challenged which got underway at Malleswaram on Friday.

In the semifinals, R. Chetan of Karnataka defeated Sunil Pradhan of Orissa 21-13, 21-5, while K.G. Prabhu beat K.Y. Venkatesh, also of Karnataka, 21-7, 21-5.

STL-1 (standing lower below knee): Group A: Divesh Pathak (Bih) bt G. Rajashekar (AP) 21-17, 21-7; S. Bulbul (WB) bt G. Nuka Raju (AP) 9-21, 21-15, 21-19.

Group B: Siddanna Sahukar (Kar) bt Yeswanth Ramteke (Ch) 21-18, 21-4; G. Dillaswar Rao (Andaman Nicobar) bt A. Rajashekar (AP) 23-21, 21-19.
