Selected for NGO award

KOZHIKODE: The Integrated Development Centre (IDC) based at Thamarassery in the district has been selected for the Best NGO Award instituted by the Union Agriculture Ministry. The award will be presented by Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar to IDC director K.K.M. Haneef in New Delhi on July 31. The IDC, which works with coconut farmers, is involved with almost 16,000 farming households through 725 self-help groups and 20 farmers clubs. — Staff Reporter
