ACB unearths over Rs. 3 cr. worth assets

HYDERABAD: A BMW car was among the assets unearthed from S. Amurthaiah, Managing Director, A. P. Physically Handicapped Cooperative Corporation, during searches conducted by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) here.

ACB officials registered a case of disproportionate assets on Friday after they simultaneously searched the office of Amurthaiah and his residence at Habsiguda.

The searches resulted in unearthing of assets worth over Rs.3.16 crore. They included two houses, one each at Habsiguda and Nacharam, a flat at Seri Lingampally, 25 acres land in Shahbad and 18 plots.
