OCCASION: V.Gopalakrishnan, right, Chief Financial Officer, TVS Finance and Services, inaugurating the National Insurance Company Divisional office-II in Tiruchi on Friday. — TIRUCHI: The National Insurance Company Limited here which was upgraded as divisional office from branch office , is poised to render value added customer services. The new services would include online insurance scheme with TVS Finance and Services customers and marketing of other value added insurance schemes. Stating this at a function to mark the upgrade of the branch and inauguration of the divisional office here on Friday, Chief Regional Manager V.V. Guru Murthy said the upgrade would go a long way in the expeditious settlement of claims of the eligible persons. Regional Manager of National Insurance Company B. P. Neelakandan said that the divisional office accounted for one lakh vehicle insurances. Branch manager R. Sethuraman said the branch had settled claims to the tune of about Rs. 5 crores during 2008-09. Chief Financial Officer, TVS Finance and Services Limited, Chennai, V. Gopalakrishnan inaugurated the divisional office in the presence of Meenakshi Sundaram, Chief Financial Manager, Sri Ram Fibres.
