Special trains to Bangalore, Shirdi
CHENNAI: To clear the rush, Southern Railway will run a Chennai Central-Bangalore super-fast special (2007A) that will leave Chennai Central at 5.30 p.m. on July 7 and reach Bangalore at 10.30 p.m. It will have eight air-conditioned chair car coaches. It will stop at Katpadi Junction.
The Chennai Central-Shirdi (weekly) specials (0677) will leave Central at 3.15 p.m. on Tuesdays from July 7 to September 29 and reach Shirdi at 4.45 p.m. on Wednesdays. In the return direction, the train (0678) will leave Shirdi at 8 a.m. on Thursdays from July 9 to October 1 and reach Central at 11.45 a.m. on Fridays. Reservation will start on July 4, according to a railway release. — Special Correspondent
