KARUR: Hard work coupled with dedication would help students make it big in life, Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited Chief Vigilance Officer and Inspector General of Police I. Raja said here recently.

Addressing students after giving away cheques totalling Rs. 1.57 lakh to 128 students who had topped their respective schools in the Plus Two and SSLC exams at a function held at Kagithapuram near here recently, Mr. Raja exhorted the students to be grateful to their parents and teachers to prosper further.

Mr. Raja said that the TNPL was appreciating the efforts of the top-notch students who had excelled in the public exams as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility activities.

Students, who secured the first three spots in the government schools within a distance of 35 km from the TNPL facility at Kagithapuram, benefit from the scheme.
