One held for lawyer’s murder

PUDUKOTTAI: The police registered a case against 13 persons in connection with the murder of a lawyer on the outskirts of the town on Thursday and arrested one of them on Friday.

The police gave the name of the arrested as K. Gangadaran (22) of Kalamavur near Pudukottai.

The lawyer, M. Karthick (35) was allegedly murdered by a group of persons while returning to Pudukottai from Annavasal yesterday.
