Handloom expo opens

VISAKHAPATNAM: A handloom-handicraft exhibition, being organised by Sarthak Silk Handloom Welfare Society, New Delhi, was inaugurated by Regional Manager (Region-I) of State Bank of India D.S.R.K. Saibaba at Maharastra Mandal, Asilametta, on Friday.

The high-quality Chanderi silk saris of Madhya Pradesh are sure to steal the hearts of women. The six and half-metre saris weigh only 90 grams. A 50 p.c. discount on Jodhpuri furniture, 20 p.c. discount on handlooms and 10 p.c. discount on handicrafts is being given.
