Nedumbassery: Air India on Thursday expanded its international operations from Kochi by introducing a new flight in the Kochi-Kozhikode-Jeddah sector with five services a week. Central zone Inspector General of Police Vincent M. Paul inaugurated the service and issued the first boarding pass at a function held at the airport in the evening. The flight, AI 963, is scheduled to take off from here at 4.55 p.m. to touch down at Kozhikode by 5.40 p.m. for a stopover. It will depart from Kozhikode at 6.50 p.m. and reach Jeddah at 9.45 p.m. (local time). On the return leg, AI 962 will start from Jeddah at 11.15 p.m. (local time) to reach Kozhikode at 7.15 a.m. The flight will depart for Kochi after one hour and will land here at 9 a.m.
