Prosecution opposes bail to actor

Mumbai: The prosecution on Friday filed an objection to Shiney Ahuja’s bail application.

The actor has been accused of raping his 20-year-old domestic help.

Investigations were on and Ahuja might tamper with the witnesses if released, public prosecutor Ramnath Kini said.

Consequently, the bail hearing was adjourned till July 7. The defence has asked for time to reply.
