Protest by AIR and DD officers

NEW DELHI: A number of direct recruit programme officers of All India Radio and Doordarshan held a peaceful nationwide protest during lunch hour on Thursday against non-implementation of an order regarding their promotions.

Wearing black badges, they expressed their anguish over delay in implementation of an order of the Central Administrative Tribunal for over five years and holding up their promotions.
