Mutilated body of woman found

NEW DELHI: A highly mutilated body of a woman was found on Main Ghazipur Road in the trans-Yamuna area on Thursday morning. The police suspect it to be a hit-and-run case.

According to the police, the severed body parts of the victim lay scattered on the road. The woman was around 40 years old and wearing a red suit. The police suspect that she was knocked down by some heavy vehicle late on Wednesday night and her body was run over by several vehicles through the night.

The police found a plastic bag with some clothes, currency notes and coins near her body.
