CHENNAI: Ajay Srikanth of Chennai was in the lead at the end of the sixth round of the Tamil Nadu State sub-junior (under-15) chess championship here on Thursday.

Seven players - A. Akshaya, M. Mahalakshmi, P. Michelle Catherina, P.V. Nandhidhaa, J. Mohana Priya, V. Janu and N. Hema Priya - share the lead in the girls’ section.
