Man throws acid on wife, child

GUNTUR: A 30-year-old man, Bullabbai, reportedly threw acid over his wife and two-year-old daughter on Thursday. Both are said to be in a critical condition. The incident took place at 3.30 a.m. at Yellamanda village in Narsaraopet mandal, while the two — Illa Sivaparvati (25) and 18-month-old Meenakshi — were fast asleep. The Narsaraopet rural police have arrested Bullabbai. .
