The official assumption of charge will begin with a reception being accorded to the new Bishop at 3.15 p.m. on the day at the Santa Cruz Basilica, Fort Kochi.

There will be a public function following the Mass in which the new Bishop will be felicitated by priests, the religious and the laity of the diocese.
