Medical exhibition a draw

KOCHI: A two-day medical exhibition that opened here on Thursday for school children at the Thrikkakara Grama Panchayat Community Hall, Kakkanad, has turned out to be a big draw with more than 2,000 school children visiting the pavilions on the opening day to experience for themselves the simplest facts of human health. The exhibition, organised as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of the Thrikkakara Grama Panchayat Cooperative Hospital, has been a major draw, said Dr. T. D. John, medical superintendent of the hospital that was opened 10 years ago as an experiment in people’s initiative in healthcare. The exhibition is open on Friday also.
