Mobile ATM for Jaipur

Special Correspondent

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated the first mobile automated teller machine (ATM) van of the State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur at his official residence here on Wednesday.

The air-conditioned ATM van has all the facilities of stationary ATMs. It will initially visit places like Manak Chowk, Albert Hall, Jhalana institutional area and the youngsters’ hub, Gaurav Tower, in Jaipur to cater to the needs of customers.

Useful concept

Mr. Gehlot, who evinced a keen interest in the functioning of the mobile ATM, said it was a very useful concept which would benefit the bank customers immensely. “I expect the State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur to expand this facility and especially benefit the people in the rural areas,” he added.
