CAB expresses disappointment

KOLKATA: The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has expressed deep disappointment in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCI) overlooking its claim for a One-Day International match during the upcoming India-Australia series.

CAB joint secretary Biswarup Dey said in a letter to the BCCI that the association was very much disappointed in Eden Gardens not being allotted an ODI between India and Australia.

He also requested the BCCI to indicate the rationale behind the present rotation policy and as per it when Eden Gardens would next be allotted an ODI and a Test. — Special Correspondent
