Gokulakrishnan stars for UDC with a five-wicket haul

TIRUCHI: B. Gokulakrishnan took five for 18 as Urumu Dhanalakshmi College (UDC) defeated Golden Chariot ‘A’ by 108 runs in a Tiruchi DCA first division league cricket match.

Volleyball tourney

The Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College will conduct Virudhunagar district-level inter-school volleyball tournament at the college courts in Sivakasi. Cricket trials

The Villupuram District Cricket Association will conduct selection trials on July 5 for its under-19 and under-22 boys’ teams for forthcoming TNCA inter-district tournaments. The trials will begin at 8 a.m. at Thiru Kamaraj HSS ground, Villupuram. Those born on or after Sept. 1, 1990 (under-19) and Sept. 1, 1987 (under-22) are eligible. They must produce proof of age.
