Managements set deadline

KOCHI: Eight medical colleges affiliated to the Kerala Private Medical College Managements Association will go ahead with their own admission procedure if the State government fails to sign an agreement for the proposed three-tier fee structure before July 25. A meeting of the association here on Thursday decided to admit students in all seats based on the admission procedure to be finalised by the managements if the government backtracked from signing the agreement. “But we are ready to sign the proposed agreement, if the government takes a positive stand before July 25,” Sajan Prasad, secretary of the association, said.– Staff Reporter
