Killed in accident

Karwar: One person was killed and two others were injured when an iron ore-laden lorry hit them near Ankola on Wednesday. The three from Kundapur taluk had come to visit their relatives at Mastikatta near Ankola taluk for a marriage. A group of 12 people had come to Mastikatta from Gandhinagar and Koderi in Kundapur taluk. An iron ore lorry ran over seriously injuring them. Venkata Kharvi died on the way to the hospital.
