PERFORMERS: A section of students who received scholarships from Tiruchi Sri Ayyappa Sangam seen with its office bearers in Tiruchi. TIRUCHI: The Tiruchi Sri Ayyappa Sangam provided scholarships amounting to Rs. 4 lakh to about 60 students recently for this year. The student beneficiaries were from Seshasayee Institute of Technology, Tiruchi, Padmasri N. Ramasamy Iyer Memorial Polytechnic College, Tiruchi Government Polytechnic, M.A.R Polytechnic College, Viralimalai and Periyar Centenary Polytechnic College, Vallam. A press release said the Sangam has been engaged in a number of social welfare measures such as organising blood camps in association with Government Hospital, annadaanam and conducting free yoga classes.
