Harish, Sunil shine

Bangalore: Harish’s 78 and B.R. Sunil’s all-round show (four for 87 and 41 not out) helped Vijaya CC defeat Bangalore Occassionals by three wickets in a KSCA Group I, third division league match here recently.

The scores: Bangalore Occassionals 243 in 53.5 overs (Srinivas 70, Nihal 55, Tejas 27, B.R. Sunil four for 87, S.B. Venkatesh three for 50) lost to Vijaya CC 248 for seven in 45.2 overs (Harish 78, B.R. Sunil 41 n.o., Harsha 31, Cheluvaraj 28, Manjesh four for 21).
