Harassment of girl by teacher alleged

MAHABUBNAGAR: Protesting against the alleged sexual harassment of a girl student by a teacher, members of ABVP, NSUI and SFI attacked St. Agnes High School in Jadcherla town on Wednesday.

The agitators damaged furniture in the headmaster’s chambers. According to sources, a teacher – Teejo was allegedly harassing a girl student studying in 10th class for some time. The girl, unable to bear the torture, on Wednesday informed about the matter to her friends. The information also spread to members of student unions.

School ransacked

Agitated over the incident, members of various student unions ransacked the school and demanded action against the teacher as well as management.

Jadcherla Circle Inspector Venkat Reddy and Sub-Inspector Ravinder are investigating.
