CD4 count machine at GGH ART centre

VIJAYAWADA: Superintendent of the Government General Hospital Ramanarsimham on Wednesday inaugurated a CD4 count machine installed in the ART (Anti-Retroviral Therapy) centre.

Speaking at a meeting, Dr. Ramanarasimham said installation of the Rs.80-lakh machine would be of great help in extending timely medication to the HIV/AIDS patients.

Principal of Sinddhartha Medical College S. Ramanamma, Prof. Subhadra from the department of micro-biology, ART centre in-charge Dr. G. Eeswar, nodal officer for ART centre K. Satyanarayana, surgical wing head in the GGH Prasanna Kumar, AIDS nodal officer for Krishna district T.S.N. Sastry and others were present.
