SBI formation day celebrated

VIJAYAWADA: The formation day of the State Bank of India was observed in all branches of the SBI in the city on Wednesday. Assistant General Manager S. Eswaran administered the oath to all the employees, who pledged to rededicate themselves in the service of the bank’s customers. Customers were greeted with flowers and sweets in the branches.

The bank distributed schoolbags, water bottles and notebooks to the students of Kaza Venkateswara Rao Municipal Upper Primary School at Arundalpet. Seven ceiling fans were presented to the Amma-Nanna Home for the Aged at Ketanakonda. The bank staff also presented a refrigerator to ‘Prema Dan’ Home for the Aged at Gunadala.
