Mumbai: After consultation with the FIA, changes at different turns on the five-kilometre track to increase the potential of overtaking, road surface improvements and revisions for pit lane entry and exit points would be undertaken for the Singapore F1 street circuit night race, said Colin Syn, Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Grand Prix, here on Wednesday. “It was my 20-year dream to bring F1 to Singapore after a long break. It was a spectacular night race last year at the Marina Bay with a live audience of over one million. “The drivers will notice the difference on the track this September. It’s a new beginning for us. Hopefully, by the third year, all aspects would be perfect,” added Syn at a promotional event. The Singapore GP will be held on September 27. — Special Correspondent
