VIJAYAWADA: T. Praveen defeated Sikhandar 7-6, 9-13, 15-0 in the Andhra first ranking carrom tournament held at the Official Club at Kavali, according to information reaching here on Wednesday.

The results:

Men’s singles: T. Praveen (Nel) bt Sikhandar (Nel) 7-6, 9-13, 15-0; T.N. Mahesh (Kri) bt L. Ram Babu (Gun) 9-2, 10-7; G.Ch. Srinivas (Vizag) bt Mithun Chakravarthy (Pra) 16-0, 6-8, 12-2; G. Ramesh (Nel) bt Sridhar (Kav) 11-0, 11-1.
