Man jailed for uxoricide

VIZIANAGARAM: B. Srinivasda Rao, 2nd Additional Judge in Parvathipuram sub-divisional court, has sentenced G. Srinivasa Rao to life imprisonment and fined Rs. 500 for killing his wife on March 31, 2007. The prosecution examined 17 witnesses. According to prosecution, the accused G. Srinivasa Rao (40) and his second wife Bhavani (32) were living separately in Parvathipuram. Susecting her fidelity Srinivasa Rao went to her residence in Manikanta Colony on the fateful day and attacked her with a butcher’s knife on the head.
