Congress councillors’ meet

KOCHI: Kerala Pradesh Congress President Ramesh Chennithala will inaugurate a State-level meeting of the Congress councillors in municipalities and corporations at the Renewal Centre at Kaloor near here on July 11. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, KPCC general secretary and an opposition councillor in the Kochi Corporation N. Venugopal said that councillors from 53 municipalities and five corporations in the State would take part in the day-long conference. Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the valedictory function.

District Congress Committee president V.J. Paulose will preside. Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Food K.V. Thomas will address the participants.
