5K run scheduled for July 5 postponed

VIJAYAWADA: The 5K run to be conducted on July 5 as part of the ongoing recruitment drive for the police constables has been postponed to July 8.

Candidates with token numbers between 13501 and 14100 have to attend the run to be held at Nallakunta at 4.30 p.m. on July 8.

Those who attend the run without possessing their hall-tickets will not be allowed to take part in the selections.

The running test for those who applied for the post of civil constable, armed reserved constable, APSP, SPF, firemen and warden posts began at Rayanapadu for nine days on Monday.

The road between Rayanapadu and Guntupalli was selected for the 5-km run and the candidates were asked to appear for the test at 4.30 a.m. on the date given to them on the hall ticket.
