Rs. 2 lakh snatched from youth

HYDERABAD: Two motorcycle-borne men took away a bag containing Rs. 2 lakh after diverting the attention of a motorcyclist, Niranjan, by telling him that oil was leaking from his bike at Kukatpally on Tuesday. The private firm employee withdrew money from ICICI Bank and was crossing the JNTU second gate when two strangers went to him and told him that oil was leaking from the rear of his bike. Niranjan stopped the bike. He found oil stains on the rear side but there was no leakage. By the time he rose to start the bike, the strangers fled on their bike having snatched the cash bag kept on the fuel tank cover.
