ACB arrests GHMC employee

HYDERABAD: ACB officials, who searched the house of a GHMC employee, found documents which showed that he was into money lending business. They found documents pertaining to lending of Rs. 31 lakh to different people, an official release said.
The ACB officials also unearthed properties valued at R.s 1.38 crore during the raid and arrested Punnaganti Sudarshan, Chainman working in Town Planning section of Charminar offfice of the GHMC. He was found to be owning three plots in Saidabad, six houses in Brahmanwadi, Meerpet, Goulipura, Uppal, two house sites in uppal and a shop at Saidabad. The market value of these properties was said to be Rs. 4 crore. The officials found Rs. 10.15 lakh in cash and gold ornaments during the raid.
