Cheques given

TIRUCHI: Collector T. Soundiah presented cheques to the tune of Rs. 2 lakh from the Collector’s discretionary fund to 88 beneficiaries belonging to the weaker sections at a brief function held at the Collectorate on Monday. They included 59 physically handicapped who were given a total subsidy of Rs. 1.36 lakh under the scheme of the District Disabled Rehabilitation Office for starting their own industrial ventures.
