Among 79 places, avenues and roads in Casablanca, the capital of Morocco, which were renamed, one has been named after Mahatma Gandhi. These places, avenues and roads were formerly named after French Generals and others. One of them was renamed “Bandung” and another “Mohammed Fifth” after King Mohammed, the Moroccan ruler.
