Rs.31 crore for cashew scheme

KANNUR: A Rs.31-crore scheme for expanding cashew cultivation and increasing cashew production in the State will be implemented.

According to a press release, the scheme was being launched in the district by the Kerala State Agency for the Expansion of Cashew Cultivation with the financial assistance of the National Horticulture Mission (NHM) as part of expanding cashew cultivation to 20,000 hectares in the State in the next four years.
