ABS Clinic – Where tradition meets modernity

The Dhathri ABS Clinic, the latest from the staple of Warrier’s Hospital & Pachakarma Centre is all set to celebrate its first birthday.

The first Dhathri ABS Clinic was opened at Thiruvananthapuram and today it has centres at Kochi and Kottayam. The forthcoming centres will be at Bangalore and Coimbatore .

“We don’t envisage ABS Clinic as a mere fitness centre but more of a wellness centre and we don’t administer much internal medicine but advocate the same only after studying the genuineness of the case”, observes Dr Sajikumar. All those who come to ABS Clinic for treatment undergo a multilevel screening which include counseling session, diagnosis, the methods to be adopted (slimming, internal treatment, beauty or a combination of these three). The team behind ABS Clinic includes a physician, body composition analyzer, dietician, beautician, physiotherapist and cosmetologist.

Most of those who avail the services of ABS Clinic are those fall between the 30-45 years category and not surprisingly, women always outnumber the men. And as per the merit of each case, the duration of slimming sessions are decided and the entry-level mode comprises of 15 sessions spread over 21 to 30 days through which 5 kilos of weight can be reduced. “The regimented programme at ABS Clinic offer assured results and it is precisely for this reason that many of our clients are referred by the old ones”, reveals Dr Sajikumar.
