CHENNAI: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on Tuesday appointed K.Vezhavendan as Chairman of the Academy for Scientific Tamil. Mr. Vezhavendan replaced Manavai Mustafa who volunteered to resign on health grounds, according to an official release. — Special Correspondent
