DDB seeks funds

BANGALORE: Chairman of the Dryland Development Board Rajshekhar G. Sindhur has urged Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa to allocate adequate funds for the development of dry land areas in the State. After chairing a general meeting of members of the board at the Secretariat here on Monday, Mr. Rajshekar told presspersons that he would be meeting the Chief Minister and officials of the Union Government in this regard. — Special Correspondent
