C.S. Suranjana named CEO

BANGALORE: C.S. Suranjana, an officer of the 1977 batch of the IAS, has been appointed Chief Electoral Officer and ex-officio Principal Secretary to the Government, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (elections).

He replaces M.N. Vidyashankar, who has been appointed Principal Secretary to Government, E-Governance.

B.L. Sridhar, Principal Secretary to Government, DPAR (E-Governance), is transferred and posted as Managing Director, Karnataka Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, Bangalore.

The services of Vandita Sharma, waiting for posting, are placed at the disposal of Health and Family Welfare Department with immediate effect for being posted as State Project Administrator, Karnataka Health Systems Development and Reforms Project (KHSDRP), Bangalore.

She is appointed concurrently as Mission Director, National Rural Health Mission, Bangalore.

Ramesh Bindurao Zalki, Commissioner for Employment and Training, Bangalore, is transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Labour Department, Bangalore, in the existing vacancy.

S.R. Umashankar, Secretary, Malnad Area Development Board, Shimoga, is transferred and posted as Commissioner for Employment and Training, Bangalore.

P.S. Vastrad, Deputy Commissioner, Haveri District, Haveri, is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Hubli-Dharwad City Corporation.
