KANNUR UNIVERSITY

M.A. Applied Economics: The last date for applying for the course has been extended to May 6.

Application forms are available from the Department of Applied Economics on the Thalassery Campus on producing a chalan for Rs.100 remitted to the university fund. The form could also be downloaded from kannuruniversity.ac.in. Selection will be on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination.

A copy of the marklist should also be attached with the form. More details will be available over phone by dialling 0490-2347385 or 9446740720.

Ph.D Programmes: Applications are invited for Ph.D. programmes in various academic departments and authorised research centres under the university.

Selection will be based on performance in entrance examinations and interview. Eligibility for applying is minimum 55 per cent marks in post-graduate course. Those who have passed NET/Fellowship of the UGC or those who appeared for CSIR/ICMR/ICHR/ICAR/KSCSTE entrance examinations or research assistants appointed in major projects in research centres are exempted from the entrance examinations.

Application forms can be downloaded from university website. Filled-in application forms submitted along with synopsis of the research topic and attested copies of qualifying examination certificates and a chalan for Rs. 500. Applications should reach department heads/Registrar before 4 p.m. on July 15.
