Van to demonstrate experiments

VIRUDHUNAGAR: Science mobile van introduced by Sarva Shishka Abhiyan has arrived here on Tuesday.
The van would give demonstration of science experiments to middle school students.
It reached the Panchayat Union Middle school at Chitthu Moonradippu, the Chief Educational Officer, N. Ananthi, said in a statement.
The block resources teacher educators, accompanying the Assistant Elementary Educational Officer (Science) in the van, did the experiments with the help of scientific equipment and demonstrated using audio-visual equipment.
The students were taught about planets, Archimedes’s law and different kinds of thermometers.
Discussion
Teacher educators discussed heating effect on copper sulphate, various features of air, history of scientists with the students.
Students also learnt aboout the life cycle of silk worm, sea anemone with hermit crab, mouth parts of cockroach.
The teacher educators also clarified the doubts of the students.
