Demonstration of BEE registration

COIMBATORE: The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and the Southern India Engineering Manufacturers’ Association will organise a meeting at the SIEMA hall here on July 1 to demonstrate the process of enrolling for the standards and labelling programme. A release from the association said Alvin Jose, project engineer, and G. Sashi Kanth, consultant of the BEE, would demonstrate the process and the procedures to the pumpset manufacturers. The Standards and Labelling programme was introduced for agricultural pumpsets in November 2008 and the association proposed to bring at least 100 members under the programme.

Though several members had evinced interest, they had experienced practical difficulties to register with the BEE.
