Flight cancelled due to technical fault

NEW DELHI: A Virgin Atlantic flight (VS-301) scheduled to depart for London from Delhi airport around 1-15 p.m. on Monday got delayed by a couple of hours, and was eventually cancelled because of a technical fault.

“The passengers were not inside the aircraft when the technical fault was spotted. After an hour or so, the passengers were asked to board the plane. However, the problem persisted and that’s when it was decided to cancel the flight,” said an airline official.

Some passengers were sent by other flights during Monday night, while others would leave on Tuesday.
