Court refuses bail to ‘Satyam’ auditors

HYDERABAD: Justice G.V. Seethapathy of the High Court on Monday refused to grant bail to the auditors of Satyam Computers.

The Judge was dismissing the petition filed by the two auditors S. Gopalakrishna and Srinivas Talluri seeking bail. They had complained that the Criminal Court at Nampally had unjustly dismissed the bail petition filed by them. The CBI had contended that the two people cannot be granted bail as they played a major role in the alleged fraud and they can influence the employees who are vital witnesses.
